Love my K5!!

I love my K 5!
Just wanted to chime in today. Still shooting, still figuring out the camera, but I absolutely love it! Rain, sun, everything in between. Love my lenses and how they work with the K 5. Still makes me the photographer, not the other way around!! SORRY Nikon, Canon...

It's a really fine instrument, isn't it? Mine needs some time away for adjustments, must track down that receipt

but I'm sure happy the K-01 is able to fill in! Two ways to reach the same goal, but oh that sweet 16M sensor...

+1 Good all round camera I think.
Very satisfied with mine.
Can't see me wanting to upgrade any time soon. Well... at least until some day something significantly better comes out and only after the price has dropped significantly!

The K5 was my upgrade from the K-10. I have only used the K10 a couple times since upgrading - it has a split-screen so makes some things a little easier. I find myself confused when handling the K10 - I forget where the controls are!

I pretty much live in TAv mode too - it seems the most intuitive.

I'm loving mine too! The WB, dynamic range, and noise quality improvements over my K20D has made the K-5 a very worthwhile upgrade. I've also discovered, due to how the K-5 meters, that I like the two frame exposure bracketing option.

AF on my K-5 is more, than satisfactory for my photo work. I can easily catch buzzers in my garden using just AF-S with one center focusing point. Because 16.3 mpix is a sweet spot for APS-C format pixel sizing and I do not see any significant advantage of "graduating" to FX I do not anticipate any camera body upgrades in my lifetime ( I'm already 56).
