k-5 sensor

Hi
is it correct that that the sensor in k-5 is the same as the one in Sony a57 ?
If so , do both camera's have the same high iso behaviour ?

And is that same sensor also in k30 and k-01 ?

The K-50, K-500, K-5, K-5 II, K-5 IIs, K-01, K-30, GR, and Nikon D7000 all share the same sensor. I'm not sue about the Sony A57.

Overall, the noise from this sensor is about as good as it gets from APS-C. The K-3 can give you the same low noise when you scale its files, though.

The sensors in the A55, Nikon D7000 and Pentax K5 are all the same. The only difference is the processor algorithms each manufacturer uses. Sony is using the same sensor again in the A57 but has supposedly tweaked the processing side of things. As it stands, the K5 produces the best IQ of all the cameras using that sensor. It will be interesting to see how much better the A57 is over the A55. I doubt it can surpass the Nikons and the Pentax as it is going to be a cheaper camera but you never know.
