New K5II firmware change or no?

Just got my new K5II from B&H. Shipped with firmware ver 1.0 I am always a little nervous to upgrade firmware when all seems to be working well. What say ye? Update and maybe suffer the wrath of the firmware gods or leave it be? Seems I see lots of problems sometimes after folks have updated the firmware.

My K-5IIs is on v1.06, no issues.

Usually there is no issue and the newer firmware improves performance in some ways. Sometimes it is small things like adding lens data, sometimes its a big change like improved AF or metering.
I tend to update all my cameras and had no issues so far.
Recently there was a K-5II update that introduced an issue (1.05, I think?). But Pentax quickly released the next firmware to fix that issue. It was no big deal, it didn't ruin any cameras. I think 1.06 shouldn't give you any problems. It also includes all previous updates, minus any problems they might have introduced. There are many threads on how to properly do a firmware update, so you can look at those to understand the process better.
I also dreaded the update the first couple of times, but now I hardly even give it a thought. Just download, unzip, extract, put it on card; charge up the camera batteries, and then its done in a couple minutes.

Went ahead and updated, that process is painless. Guess we will see how it goes.
