I'm not new to the forum but I'm new to the K-5. I'll be hanging out in this forum now!
I returned my defective K-3 with the 18-135 kit lens back to Amazon and did some thinking and decided that I didn't need a K-3 or the 18-135 lens.
I picked up a K-5 body only with 108 shutter clicks for $500. and I feel I got a great bargain. I have put the extra $1000 towards some quality lenses instead.
I am very impressed with the K-5 as I was with the K-3 - which in unquestionably a superior camera but having really good lenses are probably more important IMO.
I've been looking through the K-5 photo section and frankly I'm blown away by the excellent photos & the capabilities of this camera.
...Now if I can only find some spare time to go out & take some photos....work keeps getting in the way
