SB 24 for k5

i understand that this flash had a sensor build inside so does this work automatic on my k5 i don't need hss cuz i only use flash indoor so is this a good choice ? i wonder can i go trigger happy with this flash without set the flash manually ? thanks

No P-TTL means no easy mode (P) shooting, but as you said the flash should work just like any other auto flash.

so this is a ideal flash for my low budget right now ? i have a yn560ii, can sb 24 work as main flash and yn as a slave ?

They will work great together, the Yongnuo in S1 mode will trigger optically from the SB-24. The only thing is you'll probably want the SB-24 in manual mode if you're using the Yongnuo too, auto mode with multiple flashes doesn't work very well in my experience.
