Hello again,
For the past weeks I've been eating and drinking Pentax wherever I can find something about these gems. Some of you have read my intro, so I won't go into great details, but I can say I've been tempted by Pentax about one year ago - when I got rid of the Nikons. I went a different path (somehow I've always liked to go against the stream...) and played with the Fuji X system for a while, but now I'm back; for good I believe.
My question is very simple, and it comes down to money... Should I get the B&H fantastic deal, in which I'm left with just enough to get the 35 f/2.4 - I've used the Fuji with the 35 also, and despite being very limiting shooting with only one lens, I have learnt a lot by doing so - or get a used K-5 II, with a Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 EX Macro (btw, anyone using this lens who can give me a better understanding of what to expect from it?)... That's where I am right now...
I've shot a wedding and even a corporate gig with only a 35, and even with the limitation of having to zoom with my feet
it didn't come out that bad -

Also, 18-50 would not be my first choice in focal range. Would rather have a 24-70 (or something like that, I've had a Tamron 28-75 on the Nikon and it was great) and a 70-200 (had a 20 year old 70-210 f/4 and it was one of the best lenses I've shot with).
Ok, very long thread, I'm sorry... For those of you still with me, what do you think?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards.
Paul
