Battery grip cover?

When I bought my K5II I never gave much thought to the fact that there was no cover on the battery grip connection point. I just assumed that it wasn't there so it wasn't needed. The new k3 I bought had one on.

Was there supposed to be one on the K5II as well? If so, how do I find one.

It should have definitely come with one from the factory. They're not sold separately but you could start by emailing Pentax to see if they can help.

It's a weather resistance issue and you ought to ask Pentax like Adam suggested.
