K5 led colour tuning

I've had my K5 for just under 2yrs and have just purchased another K5 as my work dictates.
when I received my new k5 I immediately noticed the colour of the LCD was completely different to my old K5, I tried calibrating using the LCD colour tuning but cannot get them to match.
In the LCD colour tuning menu my older K5 has a green cast to the grey which would explain all the trouble I've had when using the LCD as a guide to adjust white balance.
my older K5 is still under warranty so I have sent it back to be fixed.
has anyone else had this problem?

Go to the second tab of the setup menu and look for "LCD Color Tuning". From there, you'll be able to change (or reset) the LCD color profile. There's also a separate brightness setting.

Yeah I tried that and no matter what setting I used (spent a long time trying every setting) I could not get them to match.
In the menus it looks like a completely different camera.
Both have the same firmware version
the difference isn't slight, they are world's apart.

The LCD has a green cast that I cannot get rid of.
I've used a grey card and if I manage to get the correct white balance on the LCD when I view them on my calibrated monitor all my pictures have a green cast.
I don't have this problem with the new K5
