I looked in my manual and am not sure if the lens correction feature that my K5IIs has could be used with my Sigma 150-500. I already get fantastic images throughout the focal length of the lens and may not utilize the feature, but am curious as to if it is applicable if I ever would want to use it. It can't, unfortunately. The in-camera lens corrections only work with Pentax DA, DFA, and FA Limited lenses. Photoshop/lightroom profiles are out there for Sigma lenses, though

Thanks Adam, that is what I was assuming per what I read in the manual. It did not mention lenses with K mounts other than Pentax, so I appreciate the specific information from you.

+1 with Adam, In-camera lens correction can only be applied to Pentax lenses.

However I strongly recommend to conduct lens distortion correction during PP on computer. First In-camera lens distortion correction is slow and you have not much control. Second you have more options when you PP on computer. For example, I use PDCU 5 for basic lens correction. If I want a nicer, more accurate PP, I use PTLens.

You're really not missing much. Lens correction is soooooo slow on the K-5/II/s. Unless you're willing to accept a maximum of 3 shots a minute, this is something best done after the fact on a PC.
