K5IIS + Fire Retardant = Still winning

Just read about this the other day, not sure if anybody else has seen/read about a photographers K-5 IIs getting doused with pink fire retardant during a fire & is still working:

More impressive is that is survived being 'hosed off' afterwards, than surviving those few splashes from the plane.
The image was worth it though.

I have s K-5IIS. It is a great camera.

I sold mine to help finance purchase of the K-1, and though I am happy with the K-1--very happy--I miss my k 5 its (which apart from all its other merits, felt perfect in my hands, which the K-1 doesn't quite).

Well, seeing as I'm going to a fire spinning festival in two days, that would be incredibly helpful I'll report back on any significant findings.
