Whats it worth?

Hey all.
Just a question - I have a K-5iis with around 21,000 actuations. I've been trying to sell it in the forums with a 55-300 for $375 but haven't generated much interest.

So what do you guys think? A K-5iis in almost mint condition (theres a little scratch on the mode dial) and a lens - am I asking too much for it?

I think it's the high shutter count that's diverting interest. You should split the camera and lens and then you'll probably be able to get what you're asking. Maybe shave $25 off.

325 for the camera and 50 for the lens.
Show pics of camera with box, manual and accessories.

Timing is a big thing with used gear. Several months back I advertised a few items and heard nothing a month later I bumped the listing and away it went.

I think your prices are fair and wish I had $375 available

Although 21k isn't much everyone wants like-new at 80% off nowadays.

I recently sold my K-5 (11363 shutter count) with the battery grip and a DA 18-135 for $AUD455 off eBay. Whoever bought it got a bargain in my opinion...Probably should have split the item and body, but was looking for a quick sale.

There were over 10 people watching the item, and that was just for the Australian shoppers. There must be a much larger number in the US.

Purely as a matter of reference for you, I just purchased a K-5iis
body with under 3000 shutter actuations for $300 from this marketplace.
My price point was $300 for a K-5iis and $400 for a K-3ii.
I think your price is reasonable for a camera and lens.

Just FYI I went the EBay route and sold the K-5iis for $340 and the 55-300 for $87.

Seems pretty fair to me. I have to pay the fees but way less frustratin I think.
