K5 multi exposure

I have done a lot of multi exposure with a K 500 and have recently bought a mint K5 (fantastic camera).
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a frame still in the camera from some time earlier as a base for a new set of multiple images
I have read that the K3 has this ability, but can find no reference to this with the K5.

Your K-5 supports multiple exposure as a menu option. See page 155 in the user manual. As for in-camera merged composite of previous captures, that I am unaware of any such feature. Your camera does allow for an index frame with thumbnails for multiple images, but I think that is the closest. The same feature was carried over to the K-3.
