Soccer: EC qualification for Euro 2013!
Yesterday evening I went to the Dutch womens soccer team...
Great set Ron! Good drama, and I like the free kick shot through the net. And the one with the Dutch number 11 flying.

Nice ones Ron, who says k5 isn't adequate for sport? But I really hope for smaller and more cross type af sensor. 19 is a good number to start with :-P

The final qualy round for the Finnish U17 championships in football. Entering the match as the only unbeaten of the 20 teams, our guys nearly lost this one. However, during the last 20 minutes they made a huge comeback, and after being 0-3 down they scored the final 3-3 equalizer on the last minute of the match. Here's again some samples. (K-5 + Tamron 70-300 F2.8)

#4 was the man of the match scoring the first and last goals for us

It was -4°C in the morning but probably about +2°C during the game. Still some banks of snow around the pitch, but it should get much warmer next week.

Wow, loads of great shots everyone! Yeah, who said that you can't use Pentax for sports?

First day with K-5 and only time after faculty meeting to run to the stadium for five minutes with our 13-14 team. The quiet vs. my k-7 is eerie. DA 55-300

Being a Pentax club and not necessarily a 'photography only' forum I think it would be pretty useful to at least mention what lens and camera were used for any shots uploaded. Otherwise the pictures have almost no value as technical learning aids IMHO. People shouldn't have to ask what lens etc and wait for a day for an answer etc... IMHO..
