wow I do like your #4 shot the most, but I would cut it into 16:9 since there is to much of nothing at the bottum. Nice series.

#4 is a killer shot! Really captured the power in RC.

@IIGQ4U: You're improving! I wasn't that enthusiastic about these RC pictures before, but now I thing you've found new depth and angle to them. Narrow DOF and fast shutter do the trick for me, and I like the dirt frozen in the air. Pictures 2, 5, 6, 9 and 10 are my favourites.
Obviously these pics would be even better if they were not cropped (from the front, rear isn't that bad) but I know how hard it is to keep a subject this fast in the frame so that's ok. Anyhow, out of 1000 shots there may be only one gem, so keep the shutter singing!

D700 shots are a bit out of place on a thread about shooting sport with the K-5 though?

The kicker is that the D700 shots are actually good enough to be passed as K5 shots .

A bit different scenery from what we have up here, in the land of melting dirty snow and gray skies. Excellent set of shots! I have that lens on my shopping list, but it'll take a while before that transaction takes place. Until then I must make do with my Tammy 70-200 and Tokina 2x converter. Next football match in 4 hours...

Magnificent series there! It must be hard to shoot surfing but if you provide me with a long fast lens and a location I'm willing to try, all expenses payed.

haha, Yes, lucky to have beaches close by, but for snow I have to travel halfway across the continent of Australia, so your the lucky one there. Good luck with the game, I always wanted a 300/2.8, took me 30 years of photography to finally get one.

Got my first real floorball shooting today and scored an accreditation for all floorball games across the country so I'm off to a womens elit play-off game tomorrow with full credentials. It's still unpayed but you have to start somewhere and I'm really happy at the moment!

This game was the last home game for our local home team (my old team before I got benched too much and quit). The game was a bit meaningless as they are too far behind to catch up on the leaders and become a true pro club due to promotion. It's a really small town and the club lack any real economy but they got loyal players, like my old teammates so a second place finish is really great! This game sealed the second place finish as they won 3-2.
