All taken with the K5 and most with the Tamron 70-200, 2.8
Thanks for viewing,

Lacross seems to be a fun sport but it's practically non-existent here.

Probably my last floorball shooting of the season since the local team Rönnby lost in the final elite quarterfinal with 4-5 after a nervebreaking shoot-out. I'm pretty sure some supporters must have passed out due the great drama!

Opening FO between two of the best players in the world:

Pixbo's goalie once again played great and probably won them the quarterfinal.

Rönnby was this close to to winning it in regulation:

One of the shoot-out goals:

One of Pixbo's biggest stars Simonsson got automatically thrown out from the game due to stepping on the field with one petty second left on her penalty. I stood right in the chaos it created when she went all-angry mode due to the staff being unclear to her so that she thought the penalty was over. I didn't dare to point the camera right up in her face during that time. She ended up cheering after the game anyway!

Post game cheering:

Loads and loads of pics in my flickr set: 2012-03-25 Rönnby - Pixbo - a set on Flickr

Not quite as happy:

And maybe the biggest star in the world of women Floorball Karolina Widar was devastated after maybe her last game.

No tears yet there, just totally empty looks. The girl who earlier was the hero of the playoff's but missed the final penalty shot this game was tear-filled in the interview a moment later. The loss was too tough on the players for them to cry. These are tough tough women.

Last weekend I went to the games for the Dutch Championship Women's Korfbal (there is also a mixed group). For this a large set of pictures of the finale in the A1 between Korfrakkers (in orange and winning) from Erp and Spes (in red) from Milsbeek.

Ron, great shots as usual! Though arent some of the korfbal ones a tad dark, or is it just my screen again?

What glass did you use for these? I like the reach and background separation.

Maybe you are even right about this. A bit of a mix the light inside since the playing area was darker then the bright backgrounds.

The first two with DA*300mm (set at f4.5)and the laste two in the dark with Sigma 70-200mm (set at 200mm and f3.5).

They play again next thursday afternoon in bright light and in the evening the big girls playing in a stadium. So I can practise again.

Soccer: EC qualification for Euro 2013!

Yesterday evening I went to the Dutch womens soccer team (in orange), they played against Slovenia in the qualification for Euro 2013. The Dutch won 3-1 and the goal for Slovenia was a very big mistake from our goalie, who was like 30 meters infront of her goal and didn't got back in time to catch a ball. Very funny to see

The play is getting very good to watch, now the women are older and more experienced. There where about 3.500 people in the stadium.
