Also the advert describes the make/model and lists the price.

So far....so good. I've bought a camera body and an expensive lens this way from them.

Just remember Henry's will only price-match against authorized Canadian retailers.

too bad they don't have the DA18-135 in stock right now. I could had ordered one myself.

Yes and this is Prodigital. It's cheaper at many other place at this moment at least in Montreal

I was looking to buy it in Montreal. I called Simons but they said they expect them next week.

Too bad about Prodigital, I bought a lot of stuff from them but this price is a little too much on the high side IMHO. For the records the K-7 was 1499$ at release (Simons).

well, no luck in getting the k5 at Henry's last weekend

( I really wanted to do a price match, but the taxes are still higher than if I wait and order it online (no tax), plus... hubby will flip unless I can get it for $1399.... oh, and then there was the whole send the box back to the states afterwards deal. Too much hassle.

Still, I find it really positive that there are competitive prices in Canada. Hopefully this will equate to a price drop at B&H/Adorama/Amazon as soon as they good stock levels. Then I can join the K5 club ;o)

K-5 : 1530.00$, available mid-november
K-r : 830.00$, no date yet
DA 18-135mm : 580.00$, no date yet
