123easyship sells at 1320 CDN... and I think they are also legit authorized CDN distributor.

It seems to be cheaper at a lot of Canadian stores vs US. The lenses certainly are cheaper. But not the flashes!

I vaguely remember discovering that 123easyship was the same seller as prodigital2000, i.e. Carman's Foto Source in Stratford, ON

Well I was going to wait until the end of this month or May to buy the K5 but seeing that BH and Adorama raised their prices and that ProDigital2000 has none on their page a.t.m. and not knowing if they'll also raise their prices, I pulled the trigger on a package from Galaxy Camera.

K5 + D-BG4 grip + 16GB class 10 card and more for CDN$1543. Pretty good deal I think and looks like they should be a reputable company. Can't wait for the delivery!

the price of K-5 is western countries is so high, which is relatively low in China that is 1223US dollars, and which is much lower in Japan ---1070 US dollars

They list in CDN. It looks like other sellers also increased the price a bit at least.

I've decided to pull the trigger on the K-5. Looks like Prodigital is the way to go, for those of us in Canada. Anyone had any stain issues with recent units from them?

Thanks! I swapped a few emails with them over the last couple of days, to see if it was possible to purchase from them in Canadian funds. I hate getting ripped off by the credit card exchange rate. Also confirmed that the Pentax Canada 2yr warranty applies (it does). They pointed me to the Canadian eBay storefront 123easyship. Not seeing the K-5 available there, I called their 1-866 number.

Was able to buy direct over the phone for $1300 CDN flat + 13% Ontario taxes (I'm in Ontario, couldn't avoid). I'm happy with the price, best price storefront price I could find in Canada was $1450. Looking forward to receiving next week!
