For reasons that are entirely too complicated to go into here, our Christmas tree is up in the corner of the living room.

I checked.

No camera under that tree.

Drat.

Was worried I'd brought the company down. Still it was an issue, but could well be operator error As I was coming from my K20 with AF detached from the shutter. So wondered if my pressing the AF was actually switching it off for a shot? No idea what the camera default setting is. But, boy is it a smooth operating little machine... now waiting for 1st week in November could be the first shots will be 5th of November fireworks.

No the lens part was the bit I've got experience with. I love that 300mm.
