Mine too. Amazon says it is shipped ,with a delivery date of Oct 18th.
Too bad, I had requested two day shipping.

Yes, let us know how it performs, and all other details such as firmware version!

Harish Hedge,

Because of the weekend, thats why you are getting it on the 18th. You might beat me to it though, I highly doubted that I will get mine by Monday...

Keep me updated as well...

Yeah, likewise. We're on the slow boat from the Philippines.

I pinged Pentax for tracking info, we'll see if they get back to me.

For the first time in my life I splurged with overnight delivery from Amazon after deciding not to wait for the price to drop. Its shipped and I will have it 11AM Friday. My schedule has been cleared for the 48 hrs that follow.

Yahoo! Toys are fun!

For those of you smirking at the child-like excitement about an overpriced toy.....keep smirking while I enjoy life.

You are correct however there are 2 reasons I didn't:
1- don't want to apply for a credit card (I payed from my Bank card)
2- if I was remotely interested in saving coin on this I would have waited 4 weeks.

I was talking about the Amazon Prime membership program (free two-day shipping, $3.99 overnight on all items sold by Amazon), not the Amazon CC... and it would be a net negative in the short term. I'm just saying Amazon Prime is one of the best deals going, in general.

Wolfie, you are a clever fella. I missed your point the first time and now see that a free trial membership for a week then cancel before the $79 fee would have worked. I purchase so little on Amazon I am not familiar with most of the their programs.

Yeah, Prime isn't a great deal if you don't use Amazon a lot, but I buy tons of books and games, and some larger items, so the program more than pays for itself over the course of a year.
