That's okay, he can just pull the D-Li90 out of his K-7 and pop it into the K-5!
Phew... thanks for keeping a cool head. I was forgetting that Pentax don't "create" a different battery for each new camera.

We seem to all be waiting eagerly for your hands on review Frank. Congrats and hope it lives to your expectations. I have one request for you though, if you have the time: please tell us about (or even post images on) its long exposure (say 1-5min) noise control in the shadows. I'd like to know if this sensor can handle those 40min exposures I could get cleanly with the K10D. That would be most appreciated.

Well... the boss keeping you in a pointless late meeting, then collecting the kids from school and dealing with angry teachers because you were too late, then cooking for the family and doing the house work cause your wife's doing overtime in a new job, then receiving the in-laws that appear out of nothing for a visit... and then realising that you hadn't recharged your K-7 batteries for a while and you did deplete them last time... with the grip with fully loaded Eneloops nowhere to be found... That with the stress of hordes of impatient Pentaxians on your virtual doorstep...

Let's cut Frank some slack. He'll be here when he's ready... Give him some private time with his new toy.

Wim

PS: just guessing of course... ;-)

Lol. Booo to waiting! My K-5 looks like it just landed in Philadelphia and is on its way here.

I do love how Frank played the tease before heading to work. Couldn't he just have let us know he had the K-5 after he got home?

Indeed.. Once they run out of Samsung sensors I might put a penny in my K-7 & shake, so they can put the Sony inside

Looking fwd to the mini review here!

I'm surprised Frank didn't call in sick today. I know I would have come down with a nasty case of "new cameraidis" and had to stay home and play with it.
