The fact that the DA 35 will sell for a hair under 200 dollars seems to be a good deal to me. For those who need, can afford, the extra quality, going up to the FA 31 seems to be the only way to really beat the IQ here.
That's also the reason why I started drooling on this lens since it was announced. I've long been wanted to have a lens with FL of 40 and below but I've no budget for such AF lenses the like of FA 35/2, DA 35/2.8 macro and much more the FA 31 limited.
And now that I finally see the results of this lens, I'm really vent on having this baby on my lens line-up.
