QUIET, so QUIET!!! K-5 was delivered today!!

just received my K-5 today, man, how I don't realize how quiet the shutter is on K-5, I never remember it's that quiet on my already sold K-7. K-5 makes my D700 sounding like a machine gun...

Loving the K-5 so far.....

haha, I have all the extra accessories (charger, batteries, neck strap, all cables and the battery grip) from the K-7 days that were ready for the K-5's arrival, and there wasn't much of any unboxing excitement, all I did was taken the body of the K-5 and the battery out of the box, thats all there was lol...
Anyway, definitely digging the K-5 so far....

It is nice and quiet, even compared to the K7 which wasn't exactly loud.

I've only had mine a few days but so far I'm pretty impressed

Try the dust removal feature. Their is no noise when using this function on the k5. On the 57 it is audible.

oh yeah, it's that quiet. If you ever get one, take it to any camera shop and compare to the other cameras... all I did was compare to D700 and D300s

I just went to try the dust removal feature to see how loud it was, only to find out it's been on (on start-up) the whole time. I had no idea, I couldn't hear it at all.
