Waiting for my camera in Sweden, but nothing yet, and no news of course...

Anyone in Europe that has received the camera yet?

K-5 has arrived in Brussels as anticipated (Oct 15). But AFAIK the quantity is rather limited. I've no idea where first units are being shipped to. Pentax HQ in Paris didn't receive their batch yet until yesterday.

Preorder isn't always best. E.g. I am seeing Nikonians on pre-order complain that absolute newbies pop up who bought theirs at Best Buy where everybody else is still on hold

Anyway, even if they were there, they would probably be stuck in the delivery trucks on strike!

K-5 and K-r are sold in Lithuania. K-5 body is rated at 950 UK pounds (+-) and K-r body is rated at 500 UK pounds.

When I placed my deposit a week ago they (Pentax UK) said first week of November. Should be suitably dark enough for the high ISO performance. I think I've recharged the 3rd party battery twice since then

cheapest offer in Germany seems to be €1349 for K-5-body. K-r sth around 750 or so. Availability expected end of Oct (K-5), mid of Oct. (K-r). Order now to be among the first served if you need it;-)

I've pre-ordered the K-5 body in Sweden for 1100 euro... Saw another reliable onlineshop in Sweden selling it for 1120 euro and with the kit-lens for about 1190 euro.
