OK K20=sold! So are Ryda still the best bet? Anyone else purchased from them and if so do they check the K5's for sensor stains?

I got mine from them - they're still the cheapest to my knowledge.

No stains on mine.

Postage did take a while (but it was the couriers fault, not Ryda's).

Pay a bit more then and find them elsewhere

i paid more to get mine from DCW, but they include postage in the price so it was not really more at all.

Doesnt say that it is included on the checkout, says postage over $200 is $19 which makes it $1648 v $1543 (inc postage) from Ryda, that's $105 difference. I hate waiting but for $100 I will, as that can go towards a new crumpler bag.

Yes good old Gumtree came through again, had to drop the price but got enough for the K5 and a new camera bag, so I is happy! Myer City had some Crumpler bags going cheap but I called them and they were all gone. Might grab one off ebay, just hope it's not a cheap copy!

Maybe. I remember you saying something about free postage in whirlpool so I emailed them to find out, and its definitely $19. That said, its not a lot. Its just that compared to Ryda, its expensive, and that $100 difference could go toward that DA15 I want

Ryda are not getting any new stock for 10-14 days, and who knows could be longer, don't hink I could wait that long. Camera Pro seem to be the next best at $1614 delivered. Anything better out there apart from grey imports? Seriously starting to think about DWI though.....

My guess is that CR Kennedy is due to receive their next batch in about 10-14 days. My K-5 from Digital Fun Stuff is sensor stain affected, and when I contacted the store, they said they didn't have any stock left, and will be receiving new stock with an ETA of near the end of the month; that's when I'll go in and exchange for a new body.

I am on my 2nd K-5 body but it's still stain affected, Paxton's had agreed to an exchange but they are waiting for the next batch of shipment so I guess it will be end of the month like everyone else here.

Well pulled the trigger and ordered from DWI $1481 delivered. Couldnt face 2 weeks without a camera and the money I saved has gone on a 6 MDH Crumpler bag ($160). Just have to get an after market battery grip and I'll be set. Now for the wait....
