K5 programmable RAW/Fx button ... who is using it yet?

This is a three part thread:

1. Who is using this button for programming a function other than the RAW option, and what do you use it for?

2. Is this also a button where you can assign a "User" function?

3. USER mode ... anyone tried the full capabilities of that yet?

.... trying to find a user manual for the K5 here ... available somewhere?

Thanks folks!

JP

I use mine for bracketing.

I have set up 2 user modes, one for fast action stuff and one for macro. seems to work well. Only thing I found annoying is that there seems to be no way to switch between setups unless you turn the main selector knob off user then back again.

if you wanna switch user modes faster, just hit menu (while in user mode), and then the first option will be user mode change...

Thanks. I guess I have to read the manual closer Oops just tried it and it just takes me into the menu. Doh Ok you have to select the user mode then scroll to the one you want, pity the names you give them don't show up in the menu.

Yeah, that would make a lot of sense because it is somewhat tedious to set the AEB with the K7 because you have to go "in" and do it there. With this button ... easy enough!

Thanks,

JP
