I tried several times and it always picks faces in this sequence:
1) My girlfriend
2) Other pretty blondes
3) Other young pretty girls
4) Young girls that are not so pretty
5) handsome gyus
6) me (if I'm not holding the camera, of course)
So your K-5' preferences are similar to Robinson Crusoe's unfulfilled needs in order of preferences in the desert island, if the list is expanded little bit more, we could be able to see "Friday" or "Goat" somewhere in the bottom.

I wouldn't put it like that but you are correct that this order of preferences may be common to many.

Maybe the face detection algorithm is programmed to give greater priority to a woman's long hair over a man's beard or moustache.

Long-haired Men
Women with Moustaches

The possible variations of human faces are almost endless....but I supposes most people have features that fall within 90% of some sort of normal distribution.
