K-5 as a judge of beauty

I noticed that the face detection on K-5 frames one face with yellow square and other with white one. My observation is that the yellow square always marks the prettier person - provided they are both equally lit and not wearing glasses.

I tried several times and it always picks faces in this sequence:
1) My girlfriend
2) Other pretty blondes
3) Other young pretty girls
4) Young girls that are not so pretty
5) handsome gyus
6) me (if I'm not holding the camera, of course)

On a party during the weekend the AI-judged beauty contest created a lot of amusement and my girlfriend is no longer mad at me for buying the K-5.

Please don't take this too seriously.

That seals it. I am definitely ordering the K-5 now.
A camera with built in common sense. What more could you possibly ask for.

A male gendered camera. Very funny.
Perhaps a match-making tool for all the single blokes out there. Nice feature, Pentax.

Anyone find the Menu switch, that sets it for the gals? you know "Handsome Guy" setting.

Surely has one somewhere. I haven't gotten through the Manual as of yet.

Maybe the gals have to get a female version of the camera????

Maybe it recognizes gender specific names in the copyright notice input box.

Pix pls.
We need to judge for ourselves whether the camera has good taste.

I'm doomed.
I'm staying with my K-x.
If the K-5 is a judge of beauty...
Because the K-5 will refuse to auto-focus on me.

I just hope the K-5 isn't racist like some HP laptops, or I'm in trouble...

I'm not sure if this was focused with LV, but I believe it would be a typical case...
I haven't had a chance to test it for racism yet. But I believe it takes some of the taste of it's owner and in that case I wouldn't fear that.
