K5 - NR and DFS - can it be turned off

For very long exposures like star trails for etc? Basically i don't want to take a 2 minute image and have to another 2 minutes for the Dark Frame Subtraction to finish before i take another - this is not an issue with Canon/Nikon.

Yes - Bulb Mode DFS (Pentax term is Slow-Shutter NR) can be turned Off on the K-5.

I have not received the camera yet, so can't comment on the quality of the image without DFS....but I'm pretty confident...
