That review was ok.
Prevalent hot pixels in video mode are quite wide spread. My K-7 doesn't have it but I've seen others having 1 to 3 such hot pixels, red most of the time.
Hot pixels in video easily develop because of the heat and cannot be mapped out because of the subsampled read-out procedure -- they would require a separate map out algorithm and still wouldn't be invisible due to the lower resolution.
So, expect the K-5 to have the same thing which is simply hard to avoid, esp. as K-5 and D7000 have a very similiar sensor.
Note how B&H says for the D7000: "This item is backordered by the mfr. We have no delivery date at this time."
