For those who believe in DXO scores this is amazing indeed,no matter how you look at it.Sir Gordon, you were spot on with the dynamic range.Pentax has a formula to extract optimum results from the new Sony sensors that seem to be a feather in their cap.Serves well for the brand, and future sales. The price is justified it would seem.

Same overall score as the D3S, whatever that means.

14,1 stop of dynamic range

1200 noise for apsc 1,5 sensor is amaizng...can compare to full frame at this point..not far from canon 1d mark

6 position ever and pentax 645d 4...it seems 645d and k5 is a superb combo for every needs....

using the 14 bit was right...and at this point compared to the 7d it's clear the pentax is priced right.

"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to dxomark.com"

Too many Pentaxians trying to access the site at the same time? How many "millions" are there of us?

Nikonites probably tying to prevent anyone seeing the results...or there are more of us than was first thought. (if I hadn't been trying to find a smile I'd beaten Alex to that comment.

I'm done looking, so whoever wants to jump on their website next, feel free

Looks good, and as expected after using the K5 for a couple weeks now.

Well the K-x made me fall in love with dynamic range.

So the k-5 having the best dynamic range of any camera ever made is pretty nice

645D $10,000
K-5 $1600

Look like a bargain

canon is better begoin working on sensor...iq is amaizng...add the color neutrality of pentax and u have a medim format quality at 1600
the worst part is that the k5 so good make the 645d difficult to buy...but i will buy it anyway)
