i understand it fails/gives up if the camera is tilted up or down more than 10deg or so? in that case, it would be nearly useles to me i'm afraid (haven't had a chance to test yet, sorry). even on a tripod it would be pointless (i use a ballhead, and not planning to change). any landscape shooters here using a ballhead took this system (in the k7 or k5) for a "real life shootout", can tell if my worries are founded or not? (point being, i almost never shoot pointing the camera horizontally). thanks

ps: i hope i'll be able to answer the question myself after this weekend, but not sure i'll find the time
