At this point I am only looking for info on the K5 so this is good the way it is! I have one on back order and I'd like to learn as much as I can here on the K5. If I need to know about the K7 it would be nice to click on K7 and be there, or any other Pentax model hense forth.

The Pentax K-5 has encountered some problems since its introduction.
A list of those problems and whether or not they have been overcome, without having to read through reams of copy, would be invaluable to a prospective purchaser such as myself.

How can I search the forum for topics?
I have a sensor with a mark that can't be cleaned and wondered is anybody else does?

I am new here so I can't complain about the forum layout although I recall being upset when the wooden boat forum and the luthier forum I frequent made changes as I had gotten comfortable with them as they were.
I am planning to get a k5 and look forward to learning much here. Thanks to all. Robert.

I just switched from canon 5d make II. I like the k5 a lot so far.
