The K-5 Can Make the DA 18-250 look good

Here are a few shots from last nights sunset and one from the Marina where we go for dinner on Sat. nite.

I resized them for posting here.

the skies are beautiful... So does the 18-250 make use of the increased resolition?

I bought DA 18-250mm to use with my future K-5 when I don't want to take out my limiteds. My reasoning was that if I use it at smaller apertures taking advantage of the K-5''s low light capabilities I would be OK. Glad to see that this combination works so well for you.

This one was taken with the K-R & DA-L 18-55 at the same time by my wife.

I have no Idea, the wife has a Tamron 18-250 and I noticed that the Pentax has slightly better color reproduction than the Tammy.

The K-5 really is great. Not to mention the K-r. But whats more great are the photographers.

I had always read that they were the same lens. No?

I think the camera know's they aren't the same.
I thought Pentax camera's can relate to the DA lenses.

No, Coating is different and K-7 and K-5 can't correct barrel distortion of Tamron. There are long threads about it with samples, you can find with search.

Thanks Alot, you shouldn't have any problem with your selection of DA lenses.
