K5 Help

OK I feel stupid.

Got my new K5 today and it is sweet!

I can't seem to set the ISO lower than 160. I set the expanded ISO and can go to 51000 but not below 160.

Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
joe

You probably have highlight corrections turned on (Menu item #3, under D-Range Settings). Having that feature enables restricts your ISO range to 160-51200.

That goes into beginner's Q&A.

You activated D-range. Deactivate D-range and you get ISO 80.

Internally, D-range uses ISO 80 but exposes like, and displays ISO 160. So, D-range always underexposes 1 stop. For the K-5, this is a very useful setting as it gains you one stop highlight headroom.
