Lo speed is pretty darned slow. I did not max out the frames in a row. Didn't see the point.
I never tried Lo Speed or even read up on what speed it was supposed to be, so I was a bit surprised at how slow that was. I would find 3-4 per second a lot more useful, (if I ever found a lesser that top speed useful). I wonder what reasoning they had for that speed?
The Low 2fps speed, sustainable "indefinitely" or until the card fills does have its uses in event and portrait photography , where I'm sometimes trying to do a series of shots to capture the atmosphere, and select the best later. The 1/2 sec between shots is just nice for my purposes.

I agreee another selectable speed between 2 and 7 fps would be useful at times when you don't need the maximum speed.

Got worried when I tried "Continous shooting Hi" and it gave me 3 RAW and max 5 JPGs at 2 megapixel

Updated the firmware and now it gave me 19 RAW files without slowing down! Great!

I know it says that but I don't see why it would be true, you could probably use an 8 or 16 MB card if you have one laying around

ROFL - you wouldn't even fit the update bin file on an 8Mb card

Yeah, whoops, that's true. I guess I didn't realize that modern cameras have such large firmware programs.

Having taken a few dozen test shots around the house in dim light with my Sigma 30mm at f/1.4, I have to say I'm *very* pleased with Firmware V1.03.
