Ditto here. You make sure everything is stable and working before thinking about optimization, especially with short deadlines.
Now if they could implement tethering, even in a basic way, that would be the second big shortcoming of the K-5 fixed.
And the third one: get rid of the RAW NR. Or at least give us the choice to turn it off.
