Hi, still nobody figured the magic number for %08.%03 file?
I know we can enable debug mode via pkteether but I would like to enable scripting. As I quickly inspected decrypted FW it still contains references for autorun file and script commans so it should be possible. The second number is 524 for K-30, I'm pretty sure. But the %08 number?
Or if someone know how to fix firmware checksum, then why not to replace the string %08.%03 by e.g. config.sys

To enable the debug mode I used PK Tether software. Its has been the easiest way for me

But the question is : How to correctly perform the "FocusCorr" to remember the adjustment for each lens on the Pentax K-5 ?
I performed the correction for my Pentax 50 1.4 ( +80um ). Then I tried to perform correction for Sigma 70-200 2.8 but the camera remembered the value +80um for previous mounted 50 1.4.
I reseted the value to 0um. Then again mounted 50 1.4 and I had to perform the correction again to +80um becase the camera did not remember the value +80um.

What did I wrong ?
I think that my previous K-10 remember the adjustment for each lens...

Please help me
What step by step ? Is there important the "AF Area test " and "AF Area Number" ?

Thanks, BlackM

The K-5 does too. It by default will save individual settings for 20 lenses [Custom > AF Fine Adjustment > Apply One], if it can identify the specific lens mounted.

It may not remember the individual settings adjusted via debug mode, however. [+] 80 also seems way out of parameters. Are you testing right?

Interesting! My K-5 is backfocussing since the last firmware update (before it was on +4 and sharp)! I put it on +10, but I think +11/+12 would have been better.
It is with the HD DA15 Ltd.
