I assume that you have had other lenses, all now discarded? I love your work.
Thanks Rod. It took me quite a while to get used to the 10-20. It is a confronting lens. However when I worked it out I didn't want to take it off the camera! It is limiting to have only one lens, but it does force you to get the best out of it and to think carefully about your shots. I have had a few kit lenses, 18-135 etc and a Sigma 24-60 plus a few others. All sold off with old bodies. I have some tips on my site about using the the UWA lens. If you are interested it is under the equipment section, ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENS.

I thought I'd contribute ... this was taken at high ISO (6400) and noise was reduced slightly (yes, slightly) with NoisewarePro.
Squirrel deep among trees and very dark.
Original was in RAW, no further PP done.

Second one is at 1000 ISO ... a close cousin of No. 1 !

The Everglades? The Everglades are awesome. I was able to drive one of the airboats while I was there.

Taken at the Merritt Island Wildlife refuge in the Canaveral National Seashore. Must have been great to run around in an airboat... still on my list of things to do.

Very cool HDR capture!

great images everyone! This thread is always an interesting way to kill some time.

From a photo walk earlier.

Due to my lack of Grad NDs I exposed for the sky, and recovered quite a bit of data from the shadows.

Clear Night!

I finally got a couple hours of clear moonless night. Here's what I got from a single exposure. The streak is a small satellite passing by. Sometimes they're neat and sometimes they just ruin a picture. Figured I'd leave this one in there.

K-5, Sigma APO 70-200 @ 118mm f/3.2, ISO 800, 180second single exposure. Tracked with AstroTrac.

SEMPER FI!

Wow! fantastic.... Those AstroTracs are pretty pricey but seem to do the job.

Is the Sigma the original 70-200 or one of the HSM varieties? I'm also shocked at how well the lens did in this.
