Winter sports...

Couple of recent pictures..

Cross-country skiing on the "Chemin Olmsted" on the Mountain in Montreal. (taken at around -20c)

Early arrival at the Igloofest in Montreal (last night); I think the B/W give a good rendition.

Later on at the Igloofest with Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock (taking in the middle of a 10000 overly enthousiast people!!)

Not sure where the idea for this photo came from, although I do admit I've started to add black borders to some of my images having been inspired by some of TOUGEFC's great shots! The black borders add a really nice touch to some photos!
What a cool concept...thanks for sharing

Waiting for dawn looking down over Keswick. Didn't work out in the end to be honest and preferred the shots taken before dawn.

Wow! A very cosmic kinda shot there Mark. I feel like I'm on the roof of the world and looking down.

Is it a Pano or a cropped standard shot?

Full width but cropped top and bottom. One to keep revisiting but really want it with snow on the mountains, no wind so I get reflections on the water, maybe a bit of mist here and there, and perhaps a bit of colour in the sky. I don't want for much :-)
