Love the car and the macros! Super crisp. What lens are you using on the macros?

Also, great use of the super wide on the windmill shot.

Some tasty gear in that shot. Is that your studio?

Full width but cropped top and bottom. One to keep revisiting but really want it with snow on the mountains, no wind so I get reflections on the water, maybe a bit of mist here and there, and perhaps a bit of colour in the sky. I don't want for much :-)
Regarding some of your misty shots: Do you add extra 'mist' using the Clarity slider in LR? A couple of recent posts kinda had that look about them.. just curious is all.

Cheers

Third shot is my favourite Frederic - what lens and settings? Exif seems a bit strange to say the least.
Thank you ! The sky of your shot is fantastic !

Hi fs999

I know you are going to kill me and so will at least half a dozen others here but I have to do something to this sea spray picture. What happened to it? Your colours are usually spot on but with this one a bit too much blue ink is tinting the spray. It must have slipped through the quality control department.

I made a simple colour correction in OLONEO and now the image almost looks 3D to my eyes. I love to see this image full size, I reckon I will have to wear a Mackintosh not to get wet. If you are offended (and I hope you are not I am happy to remove this picture.)

Did I mention this is a great picture?

Greetings

Gnip Gnop - interesting to see the before and after shots. I often think it's nice to be able to compare the PP that goes into various photos (as I know from my own photos that some are PP'ed more than others)

Using the 645 A* 300/4 with 1.4 TC

A towhee in the rhodies this morning next to the orchard.

Shot on my K5. ISO 1000. 1/2000th, f/4. Monopod.

The lens is very sharp, but manually focusing it takes a bit of practice, effort and luck.

Very nice. With AF I always manage to get a branch or leaf in focus but not quite the subject I intend.

No I will not kill you or harm you in any way
But I must say that the colours are somewhat accurate, Ok I added a little bit too much vibration
The photo was taken in the sun in the West Indies so the water and the sea has this colour.
Here is the redimensioned DNG. The photo is darker because I always underexpose by 1EV and I had a Hoya Pro1 CPL...

Whilst Frederic's picture is probably more faithful to reality, I have to say that 'art' is never really about reality and that anything goes as long as you can believe it.

Birds in flight have given me heaps of trouble, but I have take a few that have almost nailed it (for me).
And admittedly they are all low level flight!!
These are all with DA 18-135, the first one at 55mm, the rest at 135mm.
ISO 140, F8, the fisrt at 1/1000 the rest at 1/750
The first one either has CA or oversharpening visible over the beak and head, the rest seem OK to me.

Nice series. Love the last one. Very narrow DoF and still razor sharp eyes. Great shot.
