Lake Pontchatrain with the K5 and DA * 16-50mm

Here's a shot I took early in the morning while in New Orleans with the K5 and the DA * 16-50mm I'm liking that lens more and more. ISO 160 F/7.1 1/320s Post work in Photoshop CS5.

I like that Jim - nice mood. I'm a fan of the 16-50 - seems to be fashionable to criticise that lens but I like mine. Good range for landscape work and very sharp.

I agree - I like my 16-50 a lot and I do not agree with many of the criticisms of it that I read. Either my standards are just too low or there are significant lens to lens variations.

i think your next lense might be a macro if you are to continue taking picture of that god!!

At lest the proportions are just right between the dog and your son.
