Here's one from a short walk along some train tracks a few miles away from my place. There was some interesting graffiti all over the place, and of course loads of empty spray paint cans.

This is my final image after it being "done" at least 5 times haha. Processed with Lr 3, Silver Efex Pro 2, and PS CS5. Once in CS5 I used the history brush for almost all the contrast adjustments. (extremely simple yet precise) There is also a luminosity mask that added a nice bit of contrast. After I had the contrast mostly to my liking I used the High Pass sharpening filter on a layer copy set to overlay with a mask for some selective sharpening.

Thank you very much!

It's taken by my girlfriend - it was cold and windy, and she crawled around on her belly trying to get that and some other shots; snow and ice blowing in her face. She asked to borrow my K-5, i don't think she wanted to risk her Canon

I'll pass your kind comment on to her!

Scale Force - longest single drop waterfall (the one in the background) in England. Already posted as an HDR type in the waterfall thread but I probably prefer it 'natural'.

She is small (Russian Toy Terrier), nasty character, but feels respect in front of my son (he used to throw various items in her... that's how the love has started....)

i think your next lense might be a macro if you are to continue taking picture of that god!!

At lest the proportions are just right between the dog and your son.
Yep, most of the pictures I made were unusable (they both were to active even to catch in focus).
