Thank you !

Love that second one especially Prosto.

Struck down with a virus so only indoor photos for a few days I think. Never done flowers before so might have a bit more practice with the D-FA100WR and work out how to do flash photography. Metz flash arrived the other day but no diffuser as yet.

Cats are with the 31 and with a high ISO.

Nothing special here...but after a year with my K5, this is the first time I have used Live View for a shot.....works pretty nicely when you can't use the viewfinder for various reasons....I was satisfied!

You're told to focus on the eyes. Couldn't see them so went for the nostrils instead.

Wow.

New member here, complete noobie. I was undecided between the Nikon D7000 (which I returned after a week of purchase due to a defective AF) but these pics have me convinced. I'm going with the K5. It will take me a long while of learning and experience (and some really good lenses) to take pics as fantastic as these but this is my goal.

What a wonderful inspiration your pictures are to me.

My apologies for interrupting these photos and thank you for the inspiration.

I can see by this shot, the rose and those amazing cats that you are so much more than 'just' a landscaper Mark. Great stuff all 'round.
