Got my k5 back from servicing... after droping it (with the 50-135 which is still not ready yet)

It turned out to be an open heart operation; they've replaced most of the inside; I told the guy at the store, that it would have been cheaper (for me and them) to just give me another k5 !!!

Wrong lens ... but good details!

Tomato season!

I'm wondering how much longer the hummingbirds will stick around. They have gotten comfortable having me sit outside near the feeder. This one I heard behind me and when I turned he was just 10-12 feet away sitting in the holly tree. I barely was far enough away to get a shot with the Bigma and a Tamron 1.4 TC.

Still with the 18-55 kit lens. Any suggestions for a good upgrade?

Nice shot PTRB ! I would suggest you the DA 15 for wide and the DA* 50-135 for far

Thank you disco_owner ! I love these wet shots

My K5s are feeling so old now with the all the rumors running around about new cameras coming soon. Still seem to work OK though.

Amazing shots. How on earth did you get them to sit still enough for you to use ISO 80 and 1/45 sec, AND deliver such crisp shots at 300mm?

Mind = blown.

I was using a tripod. I guess they thought I looked funny and couldn't keep their eyes off of me.
