Cheers Cap'n

Now that sounds good. Thinking of a wander over next summer with the boy and doing a few hostels near the usual suspects like the Giants Causeway and some hill walking down in the south.

Great set by the way Cap'n. No4 is superb. Real touch of mystery and great originality.

Nice one Mark. I'd love to see your take on the landscape here very much good sir! You will put the rest of us local shooters to shame

I followed this Snowy Egret around for almost an hour from my electric-powered 8-ft dinghy. It was hopping excitedly in the shallow water in a sand lagoon near the entrance to Moss Landing Harbor, grabbing minnows with a skill which amazed me. Shot was in "green mode" in my K-5 using my Tamron zoom at 300mm. Direct-from-camera JPEG format.

One from the most unusual fog that blanketed a large area of here yesterday.

Thank you FS999 !! Unfortunately I don't get the chance to take the Tamron out to Take more Macro Shots than I'd like to..

So you're disappointed that you cannot take the lens out more than you'd like to? Huh?

yeah , it doesn't make sense but until recently I'd only been taking 3 x lenses along with me in my kit , 18-135 (which is not working) , the Revuenon 1.2 and Da15 and The Tamron stayed behind. It's now been out with me twice

I know what you meant to say but the words didn't say it.. you meant to say that you were disappointed that you didn't take the lens out more often but the words read like you were some kind of masochist who needed to take the lens out more than you were comfortable with.. I was trying to be funny and a smart arse.. just ignore me.

Thank You disco_owner! I must say that your shot is quite nice as well.
I find it that taking flower macro shots is just highly satisfactory, somehow

How do you like the Tamron 90mm f2.8? Could it be that it has slightly cooler colors?

Quite honestly, FS999, you are the most active poster in this thread! The fly on the purple flowers is very nicely caught.
