Wow, nice lighting very effective, shows the form & texture really well.

A lot of reviews complain about the edge & corner sharpness of the DA18-135. Must say, In this shot it's razor sharp !

Most of my studio shots are taken with the DA18-135, which is extremly sharp in the center. There is a falloff on the edge, but which a) does not matter in most cases and b) is reduced when stopped down to F8 or smaller

A few of the cats

Here's 3 of the cats. All taken with my Pentax K-5 with the FA 31mm Limited. Natural light in the basement.

As examples of my primitive digital photography skills, PP is in iPhoto. Well, I do have Aperture, but I am just starting to learn it.

Nice shot Pontax! Just based on the how top of the house looks, that lightning looks really close... freakishly close, that is, as in almost-directly-overhead close! Did you use a lightning trigger to capture this?? I really like some of the finer looking filaments seen in both the very upper-left and upper-right corners of the image. Very nice indeed. And, I'm seriously glad you didn't get struck in the process of taking this!

Thanks LBo. Yes I guess the lighting was close I think it struck the sea which is 200 meters away. I used bulb 3,5 sec. It took me 10 pictures before this came.
I could smell the electricity that day.
