Wet and rainy day in Vermont - the snow is melting fast. Handheld shot from the waterfront.

Just echoing JP's sentiment. I was especially captivated with the last shot in the last series, Frederic, the church in the snow!

The following photos are from a walk around last October as the fog lifted from a cold wet morning in Bay City, Michigan. All were taken with the K-5. The 1st is heavily cropped from a vertical using the Sigma DC 17-50mm F2.8 EX HSM (the viewing angle can alter how much detail appears through the fog). The others were taken with the FA 43mm F1.9 Limited. (Please excuse my new driver training errors while I learn the ropes around here.) Cheers, Kevin

I was thinking about selling my K-5 and going to an all mirrorless setup, like maybe an OMD and another NEX body but after shooting this shot at ISO 8000 (by accident!) I have changed my mind! I did not even do that much PP to it.
Hello everyone, my first post here on this forum, amazing photos here btw, it is funny cause I just sold my OMD EM-5 and I'm impatiently waiting for my K-5II to arrive, I love this thread.

I have owned the Nex 6 & 7 and OMD. I just bought the K-5II and love it. The OMD isn't as close as people say at iso 1600 and above. I find the K-5II to be pretty close to the D600 I just sold due to the oil/dust issue. The dynamic range is on par with the D600 plus the K-5 has iso 80 and 1/8000. I can now shoot at fast apertures without a ND filter.

The Nex cameras are awesome but CDAF just isn't fast enough for tracking toddlers or anything for that matter. I also wish Sony would have made a fast 16-50 in E mount.
