My new K-5 IIs seems to be awesome. Just got it and haven't yet gone outside with it... been too busy.. and it has only been a day.

But I did take a candid of my Parrot. Hand held using the 50mm f1.4 and Tv at 1/80.

At first I wasn't too impressed... the eyes are grainy when you zoom in. Then I noticed the feathers and the hairs on the box edge at top of the frame.

My first weekend with the K5IIs was with the grandkids. Here's a closeup of a bubble they were chasing.

It was a beautiful day Saturday.

I was briefly confused. Poor little girl menaced by lighting. Lighting is splendid though. Thought yours were fine shots too, luisalves.

Thankyou so much fs999 and louisalves! I actually sold a 43 here and bought another one because I had seller's remorse. There's just something special about that lens.

Seeing the macro/flower shots here is making me want to attempt some myself. I have a hard time coming up with compositions for flowers.
