I love these little birds. But they are only about 10cm long, and very active, so it's often hard to keep them in the frame:

Thanks. I was chasing him around several bushes, but eventually he sat still enough for a moment and let me fire off a burst.

Indeed, we regularly get about 15-20 of them in our backyard garden trees. The are very very fast movers, very erratic and unpredictable. I have tried many times to photograph them but have never succeeded. For me it is the challenge to successfully frame one, like your did.

Excellent fireworks. I've never been able to shoot fireworks as decently as that.
