Some Scarlet Honeyeaters. Been lots of these tiny and beautiful birds about the yard these last few weeks. About two dozen of them at a time some days.

Excellent shots, both in color and b&w. I am finding Viveza 2 in the Nik Collection to be a very useful tool for selective adjustments.
Thanks.

Thanks~ It was tough because I was zoomed into 175mm or something like that, with such a shallow depth of field, every move she made took her out of frame and out of focus ha~

A couple of shots taken recently near home with my K-5 II plus the 18-55 WR kit lens. The second one is made out of 4-5 pics stitched on Hugin.

That you took photographs of this quality with a kit lens says a lot about both your skill as a photographer and the quality of the Pentax kit lenses. Remarkable!!!
